Summer Jazz Weekender

On the weekend of 17th-18th August, Summer Jazz Weekender returns with the new venue of The Tide. Free for all to attend, from musical generalists to families, visitors can join to find a new favourite band, or just enjoy the outdoor fun and activities. The line-up includes London based double bassist Simon Read, London-based quartet masterminded AUB, afro Latin jazz ensemble Teotima and the Inês Loubet trio. In addition, MOONFISH, a fresh new duo project by the drummer Riccardo Chiaberta, the pianist Maria Chiara Argirò and BBC Young Jazz Musician GECKO also join the line-up.

For those looking to get creative during the weekend, visitors to the Peninsula can try their hand at the art of aerial acrobatics with professional circus artists, Upswing, the aerial circus company. The festival is open from 1pm-7pm and is free to enter.
