Shiftless Shuffle Album launch Party

On Sunday 15th September, JazzCotech is proud to bring an exclusive Record Launch event to Shiftless Shuffle with one of the UK’s most prolific DJs who started the JazzFunk and Dancefloor Jazz phenomenon which is still thriving today, the one and only DJ Paul Murphy!

DJ Paul Murphy is reputedly known as THE Godfather of the UK Jazz Dance scene, spearheading the movement of playing high tempo Jazz, BeBop and Fusion records to Dancers in the early 1980s in London nightclubs such as Jaffa’s, The Electric Ballroom and the WAG, spreading Dancefloor Jazz all over the UK.

Paul has recently set up his own ‘Jazz Room’ reissue label and we are very, very proud that he has chosen Shiftless Shuffle as the exclusive launch event of his Jazz Latin 1976 collectors’ and rare piece Mananita Pampera by Hugo Heredia.

The session will feature the man of the moment behind the hallowed Shiftless Shuffle decks, alongside JazzCotech and Shiftless Shuffle Founder Dj & Dancers Perry Louis.

This session will be Celebration of the best that UK Jazz scene has to offer bringing together Dancers, DJs, Industry aficionados and party people so make sure you’re part of this very special day!
