The war is over. Right?
Using comedy and beigels, this funny and brave new solo show explores how we can honour the histories we inherit, whilst breaking free from them. Bringing to life the true stories of two Holocaust survivors connected to Tamara, the show pries open an intergenerational wound, probing why we remember the Holocaust – and what it might look like to forget.
Food will be provided as part of this performance, lest we go hungry.
The performance is followed by a post-show Q&A with award-winning playwright Diane Samuels, author of Kindertransport.
Supported by Arts Council England, Canada Council for the Arts, British Columbia Arts Council, Battersea Arts Centre, JW3, Camden People’s Theatre and Chutzpah! Festival for the Performing Arts.
