Love films? Interested in science? The Francis Crick Institute is holding a series of exciting film screenings with a science twist.
This public event series is a chance for public visitors to watch a compelling drama and explore the themes in the film through discussions or demonstrations with speakers from the Crick and beyond – with complimentary popcorn too!
The first screening is Christopher Nolan’s iconic sci-fi film Inception, which follows the exploits of Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) – a thief of secrets in dreams – as he journey through the subconscious. Ahead of the viewing, architectural practice PLP Architecture will be on hand with their latest AR and VR design technology for visitors to try out.
The event is organised by young people, the Crick’s Summer Youth Project Team, for young people and is for ages 14 – 18 only.
Watch this space as further detail on following screenings will be coming soon.
