SOLO 07 | Joby Burgess

This November, SOLO heads to Peckham for an intimate gig from virtuoso percussionist Joby Burgess.

Joby's a highly sought after performer working across everything from audio-visual collaborations with his group Powerplant to major film scores like Black Panther and Ex Machina. He works at the forefront of new music, regularly commissioning pieces from a wide variety of composers such as Nicole Lizée, Linda Buckley and Rebecca Dale.

Join us for a wide-ranging set featuring everything from the delicate soundworld of Morton Feldman to the mesmerising ambient electronica of Linda Buckley, plus the world première of a new piece by London-based composer Alex Groves.
