The Turning Earth Hoxton Winter Market takes place on 14/15 December in collaboration with + carve.london. Over 70 ceramicists based out of the Turning Earth Hoxton arches will be taking part and giving demos in handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques. Carve.london, running alongside the Turning Earth market in the Big Sky Studios arch next door, is a showcase of some of the UK's finest woodwork, curated by highly regarded greenwood makers Hackney Road’s Barn the Spoon, and Grain and Knot, one of the UK’s leading woodware Instagram channels. London's Greenwood Guild will demonstrate with lathes, and they'll even bring along a forge so you can get your knives sharpened in time for Christmas. There'll again be street food, coffee from Climpsons and live gypsy jazz from George Risk. It's the perfect one-stop-shop for handmade pieces from some of the UK's most appealing makers.
Turning Earth Hoxton + carve.london is the second of two Christmas selling events from Turning Earth. It follows the Turning Earth Leyton Winter Market, which takes place two weeks earlier.
