An exclusive exhibition of works by contemporary artist, Dan Lane, will be unveiled at a pop-up gallery in East London's revolutionary arts and media quarter, The Old Truman Brewery, from next Thursday (21st October).
Running until 24th November, the exhibition will showcase the artist’s newest collection, Coalesce, which takes its name from the word meaning ‘to come together and form something whole’.

The series of original works, available to purchase from Castle Fine Art, illustrates Dan's mastery of techniques and sees him experiment with new concepts and materials. For the first time ever, the artist has used images as backdrops, and has played a greater focus on finishes and textures. From cold casting with copper, bronze and aluminium to working with crushed glass, Dan has applied his research, instinct and expertise to creating art work that are touched by his own hands at every point of the process.

Formerly an engineer, Dan Lane began creating art as a hobby. His family and friends persuaded him to go public with his art in 2014 after being impressed by his talent, and his work received an overwhelming response. He was signed by the UK’s leading fine art publisher, Washington Green, shortly after.

His first solo exhibition, Every Piece of Me, was a sell-out success in 2015, and he went on to feature in high profile campaigns, followed by another successful solo exhibition in 2017 at Village Underground in Shoreditch.
