DIY has announced that Do Nothing, Talk Show and Walt Disco are the three acts set to play at their Class of 2020 launch show, which will take place on Friday 6th December and coincide with the release of their new issue.

Every year DIY dedicate the year’s final issue to their 'Class of': a collection of the new artists they believe are destined for greatness over the next twelve months. And after an incredible Class of 2019 - which featured the likes of

Sports Team,
Fontaines DC,
slowthai and King Princess
- it's clear that they’ve got a pretty good track record.

This year, the full list won't be revealed until the bumper December / January issue drops on Friday 6th December, but they’ll be celebrating in style by once again taking over the House of Vans for the Class of 2020 launch party.
Rupert Vereker, CEO of DIY Music Ltd and Publisher of DIY, has said: “We are delighted that House of Vans have welcomed us back for one of the most anticipated events of the year. It’s the perfect venue atmosphere for this kind of event, that provides all the green room care that makes it special for these young artists to play. We'll once again be supported by music college BIMM, whose students will be gaining invaluable experience at the event, as well as providing the (to be announced) first on band, and also by Estrella Galicia, brewed and bottled by the family owned independent brewer in Galica Spain.” Sarah Jamieson, Managing Editor of DIY, has said: “We’re so excited to be returning to House of Vans for the launch of our Class of 2020 - especially after such an incredible show last year - and we can’t wait to welcome readers and fans alike to celebrate our new issue.”

The House of Vans is where “Off The Wall” lives.
It’s a place where imagination lets loose over concrete bowls, art installations, workshops and concert stages, inspiring every person who runs, rolls, or stomps through its door. With permanent spaces in Chicago, Illinois and Waterloo, London, as well as pop-ups around the world, the House of Vans is home to the creativity that moves us.

About DIY Music Ltd
DIY is the music discovery media platform for a new generation of artists and fans that are passionate about music. Having begun as an independent music website back in 2002, it’s now grown to become the UK's largest independent free music magazine title, with a reach of over 1m followers per month.

Over the past decade, DIY has built a reputation for both discovering and nurturing acts – some of our biggest successes have included Wolf Alice, Bastille, Years and Years, Pale Waves, Sigrid and Shame. While having a credible, authoritative voice, DIY works closely with some of the most integral parts in the music industry - including management, labels, promoters, funding bodies and brands - and has recently extended its work to include offering support for young people hoping to break into the business, via our Do It Yourself education programme.

DIY is becoming a cult brand, and not by bragging about it - DIY wants to be judged by its actions and the contribution it makes to the lives of the DIY generation.
