The St Matthew Passion: Reimagined

This is the St Matthew Passion as you have never heard it before. It is an innovative and imaginative reinterpretation of a classic fusing together traditional choral and electro-acoustic music. Bach’s oratorio comes alive for the 21st Century with choir, orchestra and electronics.

Interspersed with the traditional, iconic performance of Bach’s passion will be newly commissioned electroacoustic works inspired by and based on the St Matthew Passion.

Collective31 is a contemporary music and arts organisation that put on a range of artistic events, from music concerts to art exhibitions, around the UK.
