Kentish Town-based mixed media artist Gerry Laffy is bringing his sparkling art and his notorious friends back to the 16th century splendour of Highgate’s Lauderdale House for a Christmas special artists market, his second show there this year.

Gerry Laffy – whose work has been featured on CNN – will be exhibiting 10 pieces of his work and his friends will add one or two pieces each. Friends like Mason Storm (recently outed for his involvement in Banksy’s £10m Monkey Parliament), hyper realist Woz, mixed media wiz Caroline Reed, Ireland’s premier oil painter Jonathan Dickson, dream like and fantasy by Tessa Gaynn and Ronan O’Regan, hyper detail street art stencils Steve Green Urban Art, in demand London photographers Conor Carroll and Tosh Marshall.

Gerry Laffy has spent the past 10 years teaching special needs students at the North London college and it’s that depth of life experience that has persuaded him to let the art speak for itself in a few week’s time.
It is a far cry from Mr Laffy’s previous life as a rock guitarist guesting with acts spanning Duran Duran to the Stray Cats, Girl and Ultravox and then 15 years as manager of film director Russell Mulcahy of Highlander film fame.

On show will be: Gerry Laffy from London, Jonathan Dickson from Dublin, Woz from the North East of England, Tessa Gaynn from France, Caroline Reed from West Yorkshire, Steve Green from Oxfordshire, Ronan O’Regan from London, two photographers Conor Carroll from London and
Tosh Marshall from Dover. Special guest in this show is uber artist and cheeky monkey Mason Storm.
