Fall in Love with Furmint this February

On Wednesday 29th January, 37 Hungarian winemakers will be showcasing over 150 Furmint wines at Merchant Taylors’ Hall, EC2 as Furmint February returns to the UK for a second time.

Furmint is Hungary’s flagship grape variety and is incredibly versatile producing dry white wines, the renowned sweet wines of Tokaj and now sparkling too.

2020 marks 20 years of dry Furmint wines being produced in Hungary and to celebrate, Wines of Hungary UK will be organising the biggest Furmint tasting ever seen in the UK.

Throughout February, bars, restaurants and retailers are being encouraged to put Furmint in the spotlight through a series of tastings, dinners and special offers, all designed to help wine lovers to taste and learn more about Hungary’s most famous grape variety.
