To kick off the musical calendar for 2020, Singing for Syrians is back and this year being held at St Sepulchre's Church in Farringdon, London. Run by the prestigious Brandenburg Festival, absolutely everyone is welcome to join us here for a great cause.

The Gravity of Kindness: a Christmas Meditation by Howard Goodall - this will be the first chance for singers from other choirs to sing Howard's piece. 'Composer of the Year' at the 2009 Classic BRIT Awards, Howard Goodall himself, will join us to talk about the performance of the piece.

Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi - one of the most popular of all choral works.

The conductor is David Wordsworth, best known as Music Director of the Addison Singers, but was also Associate Director of the Brandenburg Choral Festival in 2018. Under David and Howard's tutelage, the Come and Sing is sure to be a wonderfully rewarding and exciting experience, with the cost of the tickets going to the Hands Up Foundation charity, which supports primary health centres, prosthetic limb clinics, and education in and around Syria.

There will be a concert in the evening performed by our singers which absolutely everyone is welcome to join.
