Watch the comedy Private Life, followed by a panel discussion with experts.
In our spring mini-series, Watch, Talk, Think, we present three films on the theme of pregnancy. Each screening is followed by a panel discussion on the specific film themes and broader issues raised. We close the series with the touching comedy Private Life (15, 2018) following Kathryn Hahn and Paul Giamatti as a couple seeking fertility treatment.
Panellists include historian Isabel Davis, the specialist counsellor Carmel Dennehy, Head of Screen Arts at the National Film and Television School Sandra Hebron, and Clinical Lecturer Robin Basu Roy, who initiated the Watch, Talk, Think series.
Please note that this film carries a 15 certificate.
In partnership with MARCH Centre, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
