As part of their Organ Reframed festival, which aims to modernise perceptions of the Organ, Union Chapel has announced an afternoon of free family workshops in partnership with the WOOFYT project.

The workshops will encourage children to explore the connections between music, science, engineering and technology whilst building an organ that up to 20 people can play at a time. The WOOFYT makes these connections visible and audible, linking music in a simple and direct way with the physics of fluids and the technology of pumps and valves.

For more information on other Organ Reframed festival events, including a free interactive sound installation of the Scottish Highlands, visit: https://www.unionchapel.org.uk/event/28-03-2020-a-highland-year/

Please note the first WOOFYT session at 11.40am is for children between 7 and 10 years old and the second session at 12.30pm for ages 11 years old or over.
