Although Blue Monday – arguably the most depressing day of the year - falls in January, it appears February is considered just as bad. New research from Love Beets shows around two in five adults say that February is a miserable month, almost half of us consider February to be a ‘grey’ month and one in 10 go as far to say it’s the worst month of the year.
Londoners, in particular, feel the Feb-blues, with 45% stating that they find February miserable, and 14% going as far to pinpoint mid-Feb as being the worst time of the year.
To combat this feeling, Love Beets wants to encourage workers to ‘Live Colourfully’ on the toughest day of the week during the greyest month.
To help workers ‘ban the beige’, Love Beets is creating a pop-up street food stand to provide workers with their perfect mood-boosting lunch. On Wednesday 19th February 2020, Love Beets will be handing out free beetroot-inspired dishes at King’s Cross station from 11am – 7pm, whilst stocks last. On the menu will be Middle Eastern-inspired Buddha Bowls and for those who prefer snacking on the go, beetroot hummus with celery sticks and tortilla chips.
