The Royal Albert Hall’s Young Producers present The Parlour – two days of DIY culture celebrated through the mediums of body and sound.

The Parlour is a two-night immersive dive into resistance and creative revelry that pushes beyond the boundaries of tradition and the mainstream.

Headlined by South London based Errol & Alex Rita (Touching Bass), figurehead of the London ballroom scene Jay Jay Revlon and party/DJ collective Boko! Boko!, the weekend will feature a curated multidisciplinary lineup of live acts, DJs, art installations, spoken word, and performances emerging from the scene of marginal art makers from London and beyond. With more to be announced.

DIY culture represents diversity, community, activism and stands for the empowerment of silenced groups.

The spirit of DIY gives life to outstanding artistic collaborations in this weekend celebration of culture, autonomy, resistance and joy.

The Parlour creates a space for the free expression of alternative narratives within the very walls of a historical and prestigious location.
