Teddington Choral Society together with their Musical Director, Julian Collings, is delighted to announce its Spring concert coming in March 2020.

This year's concert will feature the powerful and moving Brahms Requiem in German. This composition is said to have been inspired by the grief Brahms suffered after the death of his mother in 1865.
The premiere of the piece was a terrible disaster as the timpanist totally misread the dynamics and destroyed the whole music performance, we are looking forward to a flawless performance.

Brahms’s Requiem is one of the most celebrated and performed of his compositions.

The choir will be joined by the Soprano, Lisa Swayne and the Baritone, Hugo Herman-Wilson.

The English Sinfonietta Ensemble together with our talented accompanist, Phil Culling, will also be joining the choir for this evening which promises to be both engaging and moving.
