What tools do writers need to communicate hard truths in difficult times?

With the climate crisis heightening day by day, ecosystems being destroyed and human lives lost, the public response is shifting to a new and active awareness.

A shortened version of the popular Arvon week-long residential course with writers Lucy Neal and Charlotte Du Cann, this day-long workshop will bridge the personal and ecological and help you find ways to make meaning in times of urgency, by combining life writing with collaborative approaches to addressing the climate crisis.

The day offers a chance for writers, activists, campaigners, artists, and others to find common purpose and a voice with which to address environmental issues.

We want to ensure that our events and courses are widely accessible. If you are currently without an income and would like to be part of this course for the subsidised rate of £10, please call the box office on 020 7324 2570 or email [email protected] letting us know and we will book you a place. Unwaged places for this course are limited to 2 places and are available on a first come first served basis.
