Family Cooking Demo and Welsh Choir To Sing St David’s Praises!

Borough Market will be celebrating St David’s Day on Saturday with a free family friendly Welsh Cake cooking demo from renowned Welsh cookery school teacher, Lisa Fearn. The Borough Welsh choir will also be performing well known classic songs in honour of the Welsh Patron Saint.

Visitors can get culinary inspiration for Sunday’s celebration from Welsh cookery school teacher, broadcaster and mother of five, Lisa Fearn, who will be in the Green Market from 10 - 11.30pm, and 12-1pm to showcase her delicious method for making traditional Welsh Cakes. Little helpers are encouraged to get involved – and sample a cake or two!

The Borough Welsh Choir will offer stirring tunes in celebration of Dewi Sant from 11.30 -12 and 1-1.30pm.

Borough Market’s resident stallholders will of course be on hand with a delicious range of seasonal produce – including leeks of course!
