Celebrating its 10th Edition this Spring, SAMPLE brings the best creatives from the world of food, fashion, homeware, health and beauty together for the ultimate weekend market on Greenwich Peninsula.

SAMPLE has attracted more than 100,000 design-lovers from all over the world during its tenure at London’s new creative and cultural quarter on the Peninsula. This Spring, visitors to SAMPLE can enjoy and experience:

Celebrating its tenth edition since launching in 2017, the secret to its success is simple - to create a platform for emerging creatives and to nurture small, independent brands providing them with an engaging and interactive event that attracts design aware shoppers. Easily accessible by River Bus to North Greenwich Pier, or the Jubilee line to North Greenwich, SAMPLE is the perfect day out for creative-thinkers, design-lovers and trend-setters from all over London.

As well as exploring the delights of SAMPLE, visitors to the Peninsula can marvel at the latest exciting exhibition in the NOW Gallery - a colourful, intricate installation from Emmanuelle Moureaux, right on Peninsula Square. The Tide, London’s newest riverside linear park, is also packed full of amazing art pieces to explore - . from the likes of Damien Hirst and Allen Jones. Several new restaurants have also recently opened, including Ardoa and Market Table, providing delicious, seasonal dishes right on the River Thames.

This September, the hotly anticipated brand new Design District is due to open on Greenwich Peninsula. Housing and supporting start-up businesses across fashion, interiors, design & creativity – the Design District is a creative hub that provides the fundamental launch destination for fledgling businesses within a key London destination.

Curated by Hemingway Design for Greenwich Peninsula, SAMPLE events are currently seasonal, (Spring, Autumn & Christmas). Wayne & Gerardine Hemingway started out their careers in the fashion industry by way of reselling fashion on an unassuming Camden market stall which ultimately led them to launch their infamous fashion brand, Red or Dead. SAMPLE showcases Greenwich Peninsula’s support of start-ups and a renewed, refreshed, authentic take on the soul and purpose of a market, built around community and experience.
