View the British Museum's amazing collections without going out!

Huge props to the British Museum for having the highlights of every single room in their galleries online, with high res colour photos and detailed descriptions.

It's almost as good as the real thing, particularly when enjoyed with your feet up and a hot cuppa.

Unsurprisingly visits to the website have increased by 50% recently, compared to the same period last year. Most popular searches include Egypt, the virtual tour, the Benin bronzes’ and the Rosetta stone, but there's heaps more among the 60 online galleries available to browse.
