Eccleston Yards 'Thank You' Mural Competition

Eccleston Yards, one of London’s most peaceful public courtyards and hub for creatives, wellbeing and innovative entrepreneurs, is calling on the creative community far and wide to help them say a (literally!) huge ‘thank you’ to the NHS and key workers.

Eccleston Yards have launched a competition to design a piece of ‘Thank you’ artwork which will sit on the iconic Eccleston Yards mural site, 5m high, on the most prominent wall in the pretty courtyard nestled in Belgravia just a few minutes’ walk from bustling Victoria Station.

Both professional and amateur artists of any age are invited to take on the challenge, as Eccleston Yards encourages creative juices to flow during lockdown, calling on members of the public to create a piece of art that celebrates the hard work of our key workers, and which will replace the current striking celebrated mural of Frida Kahlo by London street artist Zabou.

The talented winner will not only see their artwork magnified in the stunning courtyard of Eccleston Yards but will also win a wellbeing boosting day out in Eccleston Yards, the home of wellness and creativity, and a cash prize of £500, as well as be invited as guest of honour at the unveiling.

Entrants must simply upload their design to ecclestonyards.com and some of the most inspiring Thank You entries will be shared on a virtual gallery and on social media.

Entries close on 05 June 2020 and the winning design will be revealed on 15 June 2020. The mural will be installed and unveiled following the lift of lockdown.
