Cookery Coach is teaming up with Divertimenti Cookery School to celebrate London's eclectic food influences with FLAVOURS SUMMER SCHOOL.

Come and join us on a new series of gastro events designed to give you a real insight into cooking your favourite cuisines (British, Indian and Chinese) from scratch. Taking place over three consecutive weekends in August, the lessons incorporate either a shopping tour or spice tasting session and a hands-on cooking lesson with professional chefs.

Flavours of China (5-7 August)

Explore the delights of a Chinese bakery and an oriental supermarket in China Town with School of Wok founder and head chef Jeremy Pang, followed by a cookery lesson at Divertimenti Cookery School.

Master the art of cooking with a wok as well as techniques like braising and blanching as you learn how to make exotic dishes like jiaozi (dumplings), hoisin duck spring rolls and Sichuan chicken.

Flavours of London (12-14 August)

A chance to discover some of London’s best produce with a professional, as Cookery Coach head chef and founder Neville Leaning leads a tour of the independent food shops on Marylebone High Street.

Ideal for fans of classic British cuisine, the cooking course will work with one of three key ingredients (Beef, Lamb, or Fish & Seafood) to reveal the secrets behind achieving perfect results every time. Keen to get a proper understanding of different meat cuts? Want to be able to skin and fillet fresh fish? This one’s for you.

Flavours of India (19-21 August)

Gain a real understanding of the spices that go into your favourite curries with a lively discussion and tasting session hosted by Cookery Coach’s Indian cuisine expert Simi Bhojwani.

Put theory into practice in the afternoon as you learn how to create authentic curries (like jalfrezi, bhuna and tikka), delicious homemade chutneys and irresistible Indian party foods.
