Index7 Photography Exhibition

Central St Martins' oostgraduate Certificate in Photography provided a platform for an eclectic mix of emerging photographic talent. Following the final show of the course in June 2011, seven recent alumni have come together to celebrate its contribution to the London art scene and to their practice.

The themes explored in the exhibition include quasi-futuristic spaces, identity and representation, stillness and connectedness, fashion and the object, and the ephemeral nature of photography in relation to the environment. These are approached through an equally diverse range of photographic processes, from digital to large format and from pinhole to the physical use of film itself as matter.
