If Southbound was a movie, it's safe to say it would be Smokey & the Bandit.
The Phoenix. A small basement night club in central London, that sets aside the second Saturday of every month to celebrate 1970's Country, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Southern Rock, The Mighty Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers (Theme to Top Gear rings in the ears!) and manages to drag in just about every bearded man, Southern Belle and Checked shirt wearer that The Wild west End can muster.

Freaky visuals, a dense cloud of incense, good time buddies and a friendly welcome just about makes Southbound THE most alternative, Alternative club night around.
