VHF the popular house rewind that pays respect to true house pioneers and legends comes with what we think is our finest line-up to date. Not only do we have New Jersey house original Cassio Ware appearing live in the basement but we have 3 absolute London legends as guest djs this month. Ashley Beedle, Ricky Morrison and Frankie Foncett's contributions to London, well the UK and world house scene is not nearly recognized anywhere near enough and hopefully this will be a reminder of how important these guys are to this thing we love called HOUSE.

New Jersey musician, vocalist and producer Cassio Ware was there from the beginning. As a vocalist one of his first tracks to gain max exposure was Baby Love. He has also been involved with so many seminal production crews including Backroom Productions, Blaze, Jomanda, Ruffneck and Masters at Work. A true performer, we look forward to a 45 minute live set of some of Cassio's greatest work and trust us there have been many. Joining Mr Ware in the basement our guest dj Ashley Beedle really should need no introduction being part of the original X-Press 2 crew and producer of so many killer house productions under his Black Science Orchestra guise. As ever trusted residents Stuart Patterson and Dom Moir will be digging deep to find more forgotten house gems from back in the day.

Upstairs things get more soulful with two London stalwarts at the controls. Ricky Morrison was co-resident with Norman Jay at seminal London garage club High On Hope. A night that provided a haven for real US house (and some of the cities finest dancers) while the rest of London was 'on one matey', dancing (and dressing) badly and listening to quite frankly some fairly dodgy records within a night's soundtrack. Ricky went on to be a main guest at all of London's top venues and nights throughout the nineties and recorded countless dance hits under his M+S guise alongside Fran Sidoli. Our other guest upstairs Frankie Foncett cut his dj teeth at a young age playing at warehouse parties in London alongside the likes of Norman Jay when he was just 17 and going on to become a resident at Ministry of Sound when it was still 'house' in 96 closing the main room each week after Tony Humphries, surely one of the most coveted residencies in the world at the time. It's an honour to have both digging deep for some of their favourite more soulful house moments.
