Throwback Club returns in style with more live music and retro madness than ever before. Now in the new slot of every other 3rd Saturday, make your night of nostalgia count by enjoying Bowling and Boogieing at the famous Vintage Venue Bloomsbury Lanes.
On this Special St. Paddy's Day weekender we have live music from

The Caezers

Lured together on an inherent mission to rattle the cobwebs from bog standard Rock'n'Roll,

THE CAEZARS formed their teenage assault (or insult?) on music in the Summer of 2009, and have since flourished to stray across the borders of Spain; Denmark; France; Italy; Holland; Sweden; Switzerland and the United States of America.

Influenced by anything from Elvis to the Hives it can be tough to find a precise genre for these boys. Fifties Punk? Ol' RocknRoll? ... Hell, who cares what the label says if the wine tastes this good?!

Audiences have already been wowed by this Headline Act at the Rocket Stage, Glastonbury; acoustic entertainers for Ray-Ban, Isle of White Festival; and support act for the Vaccines first UK Tour, but you need to see them for

yourselves. The Caezars are disturbing the waters of bog standard Rock’n’Roll. The wave IS COMING.

"Vintage styled Garage-Surf-Rock'n'Roll that

Tarantino would be proud of"

Time Out

The Slytones

The Slytones have been delighting and bewildering audiences in equal measure with their Cirque De Lune for a few years now. Their live performances are hewn in local legend for their ferocity and showmanship. Theirs is a presence that commands attention from the moment those painted faces enter the room. Their stark visage's contrasting boldly with their snappy black uniforms as they amble like sleepy beasts into the spotlights.

With eyes rolled back, gnashing teeth and projectile saliva, the band are quite literally intoxicated by the ferocious racket they make.

You’d be forgiven for thinking the message is one of confrontation. On the contrary, this is a band that feeds off the enthusiasm of the crowd. They relish the fearful stares just as much as the joyous dances.

These onstage theatrics play an important role in the Slytones. Their personalities (or should that be alter-egos) permeate the music. And give them that indefinable edge that so many bands strive for. This is not an act. This is not a fabrication. This is the real deal.

Genuine proof that the spirit of Rock & Roll is alive and well in the stony hearts of five very disturbed individuals.

Kate Hutchinson DJ

Kate Hutchinson is Time Out's intrepid Clubbing editor, runs cult Hackney radio station London Fields Radio and is a resident at new rock ’n’ roll night Stumblin' Slims. She plays grindhouse rip-roarers, rockabilly favourites and swing standards that'll get even the prudest of feet shuffling.

Tomas Flaherty DJ

Fresh from none other than the Christian Laboutin Xmas Party in Paris, Tom Flaherty DJs across london sticking to a strict mix of soul, funk and an eclectic mix of tunes from the 40s 50s 60s and 70s.

We are also proud to welcome the amazing team at Target Ovarian Cancer as special guests on the night.

Target Ovarian Cancer is dedicated to achieving a long and good life for every woman diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the United Kingdom, and working to improve diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

Ovarian cancer is the 4th biggest cancer killer of women in the UK. Each year 6,500 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and sadly the survival rate is just 36% (compared with 82% for breast cancer) and this is hindered more by no development of new treatments in the last 20 years.

Please help them spread awareness and raise money for a good cause.
