Warm up game: London Brawl Saints (B team) v Leeds Roller Dolls
Headline game: London Brawling (A team) v Euro All Star Invitational Team

London Brawling remain undefeated in Europe. Now, a one-off invitational team created from the finest roller derby players from across Europe will take on London Brawling in a bid to change that. Can they do what no other European team has done before?

Two years ago a scratch team of the best players in the UK became the UK All Stars for one bout to take on the mighty London Brawling – but they could not be beaten. Now it's down to Europe – with players coming from Berlin, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Copenhagen, Helsinki and from all around the UK.

At almost six years old, London Rollergirls are Europe's oldest roller derby league. Last year London Brawling made history by becoming the first ever team from outside North America to compete in the first leg of the world WFTDA Championship tournament in Baltimore, USA. Going into the East Coast Regionals ranked only tenth out of ten they shocked the world's roller derby community by winning three out of their four games and coming out with fifth place.

The evening kicks off with the London Rollergirls' B team, Brawl Saints, taking on the Leeds Roller Dolls for what's set to be an action-packed game of north vs south.

Then London Brawling will take on the Euro All Star Invitational Team for the fight to be queens of Europe.

Roller derby is one of the fastest-growing sports for women in the UK and around the world, involving speed, strength, strategy on roller skates, and all of the teams are packed with tireless athletes.

Earl’s Court also has an on-site bar and café, and a range of roller derby merchandise and independent craft and vintage stalls. The London Rollergirls’ successful charity raffle makes a return, as do the Krispy Kreme selling rollergirls, DJs, Jeerios and commentators who’ll explain the game plays for first-timers. All of this and there’s also the rocking after party with the skaters at a venue round the corner from Earl’s Court.

Tickets are now on sale from the London Rollergirls’ website.
