The Lord Mayor's Appeal 2012 Abseil Challenge

Want to test yourself and raise money for charity too? The Lord Mayor’s abseil challenge requires core muscle strength, a good sense of balance and the ability to control any waves of vertigo coming your way as you descend hundreds of feet down two of the tallest buildings in London. A team of experts will be on hand to show you the ropes, so even if you're a complete abseiling beginner you'll be able to take part.

Either abseil the 289ft of Lloyds or for the more daring, a complete a free drop down one of the towers of the Royal London Hospital.
