Following its hugely successful debut in 2011, the RCM Festival of Percussion returns in 2012, once again providing an entertaining and informative insight into the world of percussion through concerts, illustrated talks, masterclasses and the RCM Trade Fair.
This year’s special guest is Stewart Copeland, who will be giving a talk “The Trouble with Drums”, and then heading behind the drum kit to performing alongside the RCM Big Band in selections from his Grammy-nominated album Orchestralli.
