A Vintage Clothes Sale and Pub Jumble, with live music.

A hunting ground for lovers of the offbeat, Going for a Song takes place on the first Saturday of every month. Entry is free.

This much-loved market caters to bargain browsers and rummagers of chic thrift. The emphasis is strongly on affordable clothes and quality vintage. Shoppers come to hunt out a new look, whether it’s a pair of shoes, jewellery, LPs, crockery, classic movie posters, paperbacks or funky bric-a-brac.

In June, Going for a Song celebrates the Jubilee. Marking 60 years of the Queen’s reign, at our market on 2nd June we will bring royalty back to its heyday: 70s punk. The Pirates are on board with their mix of vintage jewellery and punk screen prints (t-shirts, bags, neckties and more). Amongst other memorabilia, a rare signed photograph from Adrian Boot’s Sex Pistols Collection will be on sale. PLUS, Marcus Barr is embracing the anarchy of our open mic, covering I Wanna Be Sedated and other punk classics.

No future! We’re open from midday to 6pm and it’s free entry. Come join the New Cross Scene, retro Jubilee market style.

Also in June, we promise a selection of guitars, lots of fashion, vintage Marvel comics, our ever-popular freebies: bookswap and boardgames to enjoy with your pint!

We are opposite New Cross station and less than ten minutes from London Bridge. The venue serves great-value lunches (hot and cold) and a range of ale!
Think mini music festival, clothes boutique, record shop and jumble. Toss in pub lunch and a pint. Saturday heaven!
