Green Printmaking

Workshop: Green Printmaking on a cycle!

Green Printing with artouride. Cycling (brompton bikes included) along the Thames path towards Greenwich. We explore the foreshore and beachcomb for mark making elements. This is an non toxic printmaking process, using solar plates (from US). We use mark making techniques to drawn upon the plates and expose these to UV sun rays. We use water to wash the plates and print on a near by jetty. Printmaking outdoors allows us to connect with the environment and use what has been discarded by the river.

The session is lead by an experienced printmaking & book artist, Barbara Salvadori. All equipment and cycle use included. All you need is lunch.
