Canada Day in London

On Sunday 1 July 2012, Trafalgar Square will be home to the largest Canada Day celebration outside the nation’s borders. Thousands of Canadians and friends of Canadians will gather to join in the festivities and celebrate the country’s 145th birthday.

Now in its 7th year, Canada Day in London is an initiative of the Canadian community in the United Kingdom. The event is endorsed by the Canadian High Commission, made possible with the support of the London Mayor’s Office, and produced by Rainmaker Global Business Development.

Canada Day in London is a chance for the Canadian community in London to celebrate Canada’s birthday and an opportunity to showcase to Londoners and visitors from around the world the best of Canadian music, sport, art, culture, business, food and drink.

Whether it’s watching the coveted street hockey tournament street hockey tournament, sampling uniquely Canadian food and drink or rocking out to some of Canada’s finest bands, this event is jam-packed with exciting performances and activities for everyone.
