The needle drops onto the vinyl and the record begins to spin. The sound of drums and the ghost of a voice echoes over the crowd. Everything stops for a split second, before the bass kicks in and the vibrations have their irresistible effect... Welcome to the Sound System Social Club.

Trinity's night of authentic Sound System culture returns to the Amersham Arms with the roughest selection of Reggae, Hip-Hop, Jungle and all that falls between. Featuring the legendary KING TUBBY'S HI-FI at the controls, the SSSC is a showcase for some of the strongest DJs, MCs and musicians from the world of Roots culture.

Our resident selectors from LIONPULSE SOUND and KING TUBBY'S HI-FI return to nice-up the dance with dubplates representing the full span of Reggae and Roots culture, alongside HYLU & JAGO, bringing their unique style with the hottest new productions from the UK Bass scene.

The Hip-Hop scene will also be in full effect, as we welcome CAXTON PRESS to the Social Club for the first time. Fresh off the launch of their debut album, 'Shame The Devil,' the group will be delivering fast-paced and intelligent lyricism through a Live P.A., bringing a hard-edged and strong sound to an already heavy line-up! Joining them will be one of Trinity's all-time favourite selectors, the one and only DJ SNUFF, playing tunes with a unique flavour spanning from the African continent to Jamaica to Europe and back.

Culminating in a back-to-back, tune-for-tune battle, the SSSC is the only place to see some of the UK's top-ranking selectors go one-on-one in a positive way! All this on a world-class Sound System for only £5! You can't say Trinity don't treat ya nice! We look forward to seeing you down at the Amersham on the 9th June...

Three rappers – Manage, Kingpin and eMCee Killa – Singer/rapper Amy True, producer Profound and DJ Snuff, have merged their talents to give you Caxton Press.

▲ DJ SNUFF (Speaker's Corner/End Of The Weak) - 20+ years in Hip-Hop, with roots in DJing for major international Bboy tournaments, pirate radio [ItchFM], the one-man-gang behind the UK's leading Hip-Hop platform 'Speakers Corner', a father of the infamous international Hip-Hop community 'End Of The Weak' that now spans the globe, co-founder of 'The People's Army' and an all round certified badman DJ. Basically is there anything Snuff hasn't done?!
