Cocktail-Making Classes

Buzzing and welcoming all-day neighbourhood hangouts, Balans restaurants have become firm favourites throughout the capital. Alongside their varied and seasonal brasserie style menus, it’s their cocktails, from mouth-watering Mojitos through to delectable Daiquiris, that have really hit the spot.

Now Balans’ talented mixologists have agreed to share some of the tricks of their trade with a series of brilliant cocktail master classes.

If you long to know how to mix, muddle and mash like the professionals, then you won’t want to miss out on these blends of alchemy and education. Each session kicks off with that classic champagne cocktail, a Bellini, before moving on to such celebrated concoctions as the Bloody Mary, French Martini, Margarita, Mojito and Cosmopolitan. If your tutor is feeling particularly generous, he might even throw in a strawberry Daiquiri for good measure!

These classic cocktails not only taste delicious but demonstrate a variety of styles, from frozen and crushed through to neat and bubbly.

Each student will receive recipes and the history of each cocktail to take away with them.

These most intoxicating of tutorials will take place on Tuesday 3rd July at Balans Kensington, Tuesday 4th September at Balans Westfield London and Tuesday 2nd October at Balans Earl’s Court from 6:30pm – 8pm. They then continue to rotate at these restaurants on the first Tuesday every month in the same order as above.
