Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres and Arriva London have come together this year to celebrate the centenary of the route 38 bus in a way that will also help thousands of Londoners affected by cancer.
Together we are challenging people to ‘Walk the 38’ on a day of your choosing between 1st May and 14th September, taking on the 7.5m route from Clapton Pond to Victoria.
You can participate in whichever way you want – with friends, family and colleagues, in fancy dress or even backwards! Be as imaginative as you like, but most of all have fun whilst knowing you're raising money for a great cause.
To take part in this special event please visit our website and complete our simple online registration form. Please pay the registration fee of £10 per person using any major debit or credit card. This will cover any costs of organising the event.
The fundraising target for this event is £38 per person, which as well as being the number of the bus route is also the amount it costs Maggie’s every time someone walks through our door seeking support. So every single person who takes part in this event will be making sure that another person can live with, through and beyond cancer thanks to Maggie’s and their support.
You will receive a fundraising pack, a t-shirt and lots of help and support in reaching their fundraising target. Thanks to the lovely people at Krispy Kreme, you will also receive a voucher for one of their signature Original Glazed Doughnuts with the purchase of any medium coffee at their Victoria Station kiosk - perfect fuel as your start your walk, or reward when you finish!
If you have any further questions or would like to register please get in touch with our Supporter Care Team on 0300 123 1801 or email email@example.com
