Art Antiques London takes place in Kensington Gardens between the 14th - 20th June 2012. Art Antiques was launched in 2010 to wide acclaim, winning praise for it's central location, light and airy atmosphere and stylish presentation. The fair will bring together over 70 of the worlds leading art, ceramic and jewellery dealers and has become a great meeting place for industry insiders and interested members of the public alike.

The fair is strong for jewellery this year with Mayfair jewellers, Lucas Rarities showcasing an exceptional collection of period jewellery including a stand out piece of great historical importance, the fantasy brooch by Rene Boivin. This stunning Emerald, Ruby, diamond and yellow gold Hippocamp pearl brooch once belonged to New York Socialite and art patron Millicent Rogers and is certain to create great interest at the show.

To celebrate the launch of the show Art Antiques are hosting their annual "Party in the Park" on the 12th June and Lucas Rarities are showing their support for this years chosen charity, JDRF by donating 2 prizes to the silent auction.

Party in the Park is one of the Summer season highlights and this year it takes the form of a cocktail party followed by a dinner and charity auction, at which guests will enjoy Scissor Sister stars Jake Shears and Babydaddy performing an acoustic set.

For the jewellers, Lucas Rarities, the affiliation with this particular charity holds great significance. Sam Loxton of Lucas Rarities suffers with type 1 diabetes himself and was thrilled when JDRF were chosen as it’s a cause close to his heart. They will be donating two prizes to help raise money for JDRF, a cushion cut diamond ring in a custom mount of 18ct and a pair of oval Cabochon ruby earrings and these prizes will be bid on by guests via a silent auction.
