Evolving from a cult London club night into a pop-up bowling venue, complete with 4 full size lanes, an American Diner, cocktail bar and music and performance space, Pin-up continues its journey of eclectic fun filled parties with a musical trip to the impressive modernist masterpiece that is the Hayward Gallery. While the pop-up bowling lanes will not be popping up on the Southbank, their eclectic take on DJing will still ensure a night well worth a visit. Some of the UK’s most loved DJ’s, including Norman Jay and Andrew Weatherall, have played Pin-up parties in the past and the Pin-up residents take inspiration from these guests and provide a varied soundtrack that traverses the musical spectrum.

As Phil Dawson, Pin-up’s creator explains: “Pin-up has always been about providing a place for friends to get together, mess around and leave with memorable experiences. Bowling undoubtedly plays a huge part of what we do, but we love throwing parties at unique venues that leave a lasting impression. The V&A Museum, Battersea Arts Centre, and Corbetts Place – the Truman Brewery’s best kept secret – are good examples. Concrete at the Hayward Gallery continues that thread and its terrace and location make it an exciting place for us to be.”
