Bands:

Grupo Lokito
Mo & The Motherfunkers
Orquesta Estelar

Grupo Lokito:

Grupo Lokito fuses contemporary Congolese and Latin music creating a modern day cocktail of two of the great world musics.
Formed in 2006 by British Latin pianist Sara McGuinness and Congolese singer Jose Hendrix Ndelo, Grupo Lokito’s musicians are a mix of Congolese, Latin and British artists who have chosen to make London their home.
Lokito’s energetic front-line of singers are true performers, and when the groove steps up a notch in the blistering salsa and seben sections, their outlandish dancing has to be seen to be believed! grupolokito.co.uk/Site/Videos.html

Mo & The Motherfunkers:

MO & THE MOTHERFUNKERS is a tight Funk/soul band composed of seven hardcore professional musicians. The funking guys that make up the line up also work as session musicians and have worked with various artists in studios and stage, when not Motherfunking. The line up is made up of Drums, Bass, Keyboards, Guitar, Saxophone, Percussion and Vocals. It has a sizable, enthusiastic core following of fans who enjoy the party atmosphere . You can believe the name says it all…. No Bullshit , just big balls funk.

Orquesta Estelar Cuban Big Band:

Orquesta Estelar is a Cuban big band that features a range of instruments: all the usual suspects such as trumpets and saxophones of all shapes and sizes but also cellos, tres (Cuban Guitar), a gang of percussionists and 5 singers.
To see and hear Orquesta Estelar is truly a unique experience, the band varies in size from 25 – 35 strong and sizzle through a range of hot Cuban and salsa classics. The energy and enthusiasam is infectious. This is salsa as it is supposed to be – fun, happy, dance music.
