Musicianship and Performance Workshop

Musicianship is a course that combines both the practical and theoretical aspects of music to provide you with the skills and knowledge you would need to become a strong musician.
These aspects include such skills as aural training, improvisation, rhythm training, harmonisation, band experience, confidence, stage presence, time keeping and much more!
Learning the techniques that unlock the world of music encourage you to rely on your own resources such as your voice, ears, and body to help develop an instinctive and immediate understanding, instead of using an instrument to ‘cheat’ your way along.
The ‘Starling’ Musicianship course is particularly unique, as it has been specially designed and structured by professional musicians to give students the same outrageous skill set as a full time musician. The programme is exclusive to the Academy and offers an experience that you will find nowhere else.
