Lewis is nearly eighteen
Lewis is sexy and he knows it
Lewis is a talented Olympic hopeful
Lewis is in love
Lewis knows the nation’s expectations
Lewis is hiding something
And the world is about to find out what.
As The Greatest Show on Earth comes to London, this vibrant, moving and ultimately uplifting comedy follows a young Olympic boxing hopeful’s attempts to achieve gold in his career and, more importantly, his life.
Until the eve of his eighteenth birthday it was all going so well - then Lewis’ adoring mum throws him the birthday party from hell. Lies, deception, homophobia, lesbian lust and the memories of that traumatic evening in Soho in 1999 combine to make Lewis face up to a difficult decision – what does he have to do to make himself proud?
