This exhibition by Anne-Marie Sanderson, Chief Photographer of the Gazette, Advertiser and Press series of newspapers, is part of The Enfield Festival.

Anne-Marie says,

'Every-one has seen the pictures of the IKEA opening at Edmonton in 2005. Most people are familiar with the smoking image of the burning Sony warehouse from the riots last year. But who has heard of Jack Brown? Why is he important? Do you know how old he is or what he was photographed for?

Having spent eight years working for the Gazette, Advertiser & Press series, this exhibition brings together some of the events, people and stories that have happened during that time, that I have been lucky enough to be a part of.'

Anne-Marie Sanderson is an exceptional news and sports photographer. With over ten years experience within the newspaper industry Anne-Marie has had her work published not only in local press but also in The London Evening Standard and many of the nationals. She was the only photographer to capture the frenzied scenes at the IKEA opening in Edmonton.

Willing to go where the action is, Anne-Marie personifies the essence of news and sports photography at the cutting edge and her portfolio really epitomises her professionalism and passion.

There is a one-off private view of this event on July 5th from 6pm to 9pm, with free wine and nibbles. There are only limited tickets for this private view. Tickets for the private view need to be bought in advance from Eventbrite, for a donation to Chickenshed Theatre and an Eventbrite charge on top.
