The Buddhist Master H.H. the 17th Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje is Tibet’s first lama and the leader of the 900-year old Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. H.H. Karmapa is coming to the UK in July 2012 for the fourth time, to meet his students and give teachings to the public. He brings his universal message of peace, compassion and loving kindness to all. His focus this year will be on teachings to support wellbeing in the modern world, emphasising the value of compassion and non-material wealth. The teachings are suitable for everyone.

For information about H.H. the 17th Karmapa's programme of teachings in London and the UK, see www.karmapa-london.org.

There will be teachings offered by H.H. Karmapa on love and compassion on the 14th, July and a special Buddhist empowerment of the Buddha of Wealth and Prosperity (Tibetan: Dzambhala), on the 15th. The empowerment can be given to Buddhist practitioners as well as to those open to Buddha's teachings.

On the 16th July, Lama Jigme Rinpoche, a much loved Tibetan master, will also give teachings on how to practice Buddhism in daily life. These teachings are very useful for everyone, especially those who would like to integrate meditation practice with their work and family lives.
