Classical and Contemporary Text students present three brand new works by leading Scottish-based playwrights

Platform performances of three exciting and challenging new plays by Scottish-based playwrights in collaboration with Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Masters Acting and Directing students.

The Special, by Rona Munro

A surprise delivery to an up and coming busy restaurant serves up shocks, challenges and a life-changing experience for everyone in the kitchen. Love, passion, moral choices and fine dining. An exploration of the boundaries between the mundane and the extraordinary, developed by the cast, director and writer from tales of wonder.

The Fragmented Life of Dorothy Lawrence, by Lewis Hetherington

Inspired by the real life story of Dorothy Lawrence – an Edwardian orphan who cycled across France disguised as a man to fight in the trenches of the First World War – this show explores the imprint her story made on history and what resonance it holds today.

Random Object Flying Through The Air, by Oliver Emanuel

How do we find love? What does ‘love’ actually mean in a globalised, digital world? Is an honest connection still possible?

Random Object Flying Through The Air tells the story of six people desperately searching for a way to fill the void.
