Sunrise 4th Annual Online Film and Animation Festival Award Ceremony

ditto is proud to announce Sunrise 4th Online Film and Animation Festival – shining a light on young film making talent. Since 2008, Sunrise is ditto’s educational initiative, supporting recent graduates from Norwich University College of the Arts, NUCA, helping new talent reach an audience.

Sunrise is the UK’s largest independent online film festival, garnering 85,000 public votes in 2011.

Nominees will compete for the online Public Vote and the Critics’ Choice awards. The winners will receive an internship with Air Post studios or Beakus animation studio in London, subscriptions for Little White Lies Magazine and Empire Magazine.

The Sunrise 2012 Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday 19th July at ditto’s London studio. The evening will feature inspirational talks from Vimeo Awards Director Jeremy Boxer and the BAFTA award winning animator Mikey Please. The award ceremony will announce the winners of the Sunrise for 2012,Public Vote and the Critics’ Choice. The evening will also feature an exhibition by Little White Lies Magazine on the ditto doors.

The celebrations will then continue with an after party featuring a
live set from Irish hip hop sensations S.W.O.R.D.S. at the Islington’s
legedary venue Hope & Anchor. ditto directed and produced
S.W.O.R.D.S. music video for new single ‘Glitch Bitch’, that has
been nominated for best music video at LA’s International
Television Festival 2012.
