Breath, Stretch and Meditate on the lawns of Kensington Gardens with us this summer.

Russia.Park offers you a unique opportunity to practice hatha yoga in the hottest London outdoors location ever.

Our teachers are amazing Russian yoga practitioners Ivan and Anatoly from famous London www.yogadom.com. They will introduce you to their program of hatha yoga.

Hatha Yoga, the Yoga of Power Balance, works mainly through Asana (posture) and Pranayama (breath work). Regular practice of Asanas improves body posture, improves flexibility and tones up all body muscles. It also makes one's nervous system stable yet flexible and produces calm and happy mood throughout the day. At the same time the practice of Pranayama boosts one's energy levels, improves concentration and relaxation.

Ivan, is a Sivananda trained yoga teacher, utilizing powerful approach to asanas and breathing techniques. Strongly influenced by the Sivananda tradition, he received his teacher's certification in Vrindavan, India, and continues an in-depth research into hatha and jnana yoga, zhong-yuan qigong and effective meditation. In his workshops, he achieves the rare mix of a peaceful atmosphere with challenging asanas and deep pranayamas, much loved by yoga practitioners.

Aim to arrive at least 10 mins before the session starts to allow yourself time to relax.

We recommend you come to class well hydrated, with loose and comfortable clothing, try not to eat up to 2 hours before, and be sure to tell your teacher about any medical conditions that may effect your practise.
