Could you conquer the Grand Canyon?

We would like to invite you to join us and two of our football legends for a free drink after work so you can find out more about this unique charity challenge.

Drop in anytime from 5-7.30pm

David Oldfield (Manchester City/Leicester) and Bob Bolder (Liverpool/Charlton) will be delighted to meet you and tell you more about this exciting adventure. They will be two of the ex-professional footballers captaining teams through the Wild West to compete for the unique and prestigious PFA Children Today Challenge Cup in Arizona in June 2013. Veterans of previous trips to Malaysia, South Africa and Borneo and hugely experienced in all these challenges have to offer, they are keen to share their experiences with you.

Although we are thrilled to be welcoming such prestigious ex-professional footballers as our team captains* on this challenge, it is not actually about football so don't worry if that's not your thing! On this action-packed desert adventure you will trek, bike and kayak your way through the spectacular Wild West landscape of the Arizona desert and trek down into the iconic Grand Canyon. After exploring the hidden Garden of Eden that is the home of the Havasupai Indians your trip culminates in the ultimate hiking challenge of climbing back up out of the Grand Canyon in a day. Then it is time to celebrate with your new-found friends in Las Vegas and crown the winning team!

If you are unable to join us at this informal information evening then you can find out about it on our facebook page ChildrenTodayCT.

As a small national charity entirely reliant on voluntary funding, all income raised from next year's challenge will help Children Today to provide vital equipment to improve the lives of disabled children and young people all over the UK.

We look forward to seeing you on the 12th !
