We’ve all heard the ‘M’ word bandied around and know we ‘should’ be doing some, but what does this really mean in terms of practicality and experience? In this workshop we explore how feeling what we eat, do, move and how we approach life have a real effect on our bodies and how we cope with stress. Practical and grounding mindfulness applications and applying this in yoga practice can help us get the best from life.

Starting with an hour’s talk to lead organically into two hour’s yoga practice

Initial talk to interweave nutritional, lifestyle and attitude elements to help us cope optimally in the modern world and enjoy health and quality of life

Leading naturally into breath work, asana (posture) practice and relaxation methods to illustrate discussion points and truly feel and imprint the effects to help anchor your innate coping mechanisms

“Charlotte Watts’ De-Stress Yoga & Health Workshop at Evolve was fantastic, not only did I learn so much, but it relaxed me more than I thought possible. Charlotte is very good teacher, very knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about helping others. It was really helpful to learn some really good techniques to help me de-stress and soothe some of the tension that makes you feel uptight and unable to relax. The class is ideal for anyone wanting to change the way the way they deal and manage stress in their daily life, rather than ‘just’ another yoga class. Can’t wait for the next one!” - Charlotte Dormon, Account Director CCDPR
Charlotte Watts has been practising yoga since 1996, teaching for over 5 years after advanced 500 hour training with the Vajrasati School in Brighton. Also a NutritionalTherapist for over 10 years and author of The De-Stress Diet (www.de-stressyourlife.com), she works with clients to relieve causative elements of stress-related disorders, energy issues, craving cycles, sleep issues and mental health. She focusses on how we can become adaptive and resilient – to enjoy modern living without its stresses upsetting our quality of life.
