Stuff and Nonsense - Taxidermy Workshop

Amanda Sutton of “Amanda’s Autopsies” will teach a taxidermy tutorial for beginners in the fantastic Grade II Listed Pathology Museum

(St Bart’s Hospital campus).


Price £50 includes tutorial, all materials and refreshments. Delegates will also be able to take home their work and tools.

Participants will need to sign a waiver to say they understand that any procedure such as this, which will involve tools, does have inherent dangers. However there will be a trained First-Aider on stand-by and there is no danger of infection whatsoever from the animals themselves. All tools are also sterile.


This lesson we will be working on hamsters, do bring accessories to dress up the hamster!

Age limit over 18 years of age only due to the use of sharp implements.

All proceeds go toward the restoration of the museum.
