artsdepot, in partnership with London Borough of Barnet presents Bells

A breathtaking open-air performance, Bells is a collaborative spectacle created by Theater Tol (Belgium) and Akademi (London) combining aerial theatre and Kathak dance.

Starting with a procession into Barnet’s Victoria Park, a hypnotic classical dance leads to a dazzling climax during which aerialists suspended high above the crowd move in perfect time with the dancers below. A magical experience where angels soar through the air above the audience.

Bells features the choreography of Kumudini Lakhia, with additional choreography by Urja Desai Thakore and Amina Khayyam.

Bells is part of Showtime, presented by Mayor of London. Showtime is a free outdoor arts festival giving all Londoners the chance to enjoy world class entertainment and culture on their doorstep.
